The growth was never the hard part.

25 years building and scaling businesses, on both sides of the table. Ten of them running my own: £12m in revenue, 85 people, an eight-figure exit, then a buy-back, a restructure, and a second exit. Fifteen before that in banking and fintech, at some of the biggest names in the industry.

I hit every number I set. What it cost me was harder to see. I scaled the business by scaling the hours, the pressure, and the weight I carried on my own. I burned out reaching the very thing I had been chasing, and when I got there I barely recognised the person who had arrived.

I had investors, partners and advisors for the business. What I did not have was someone in my corner for the part that actually decided whether it was worth it: how to grow without losing myself, my health, my family and my faith along the way.

So I rebuilt. Same ambition, different foundation. Faith and systems instead of willpower and hours. I did it again, past $10m and out to a second exit, with the same revenue and a completely different person walking away from it.

Then I decided to become the person I wish I had had. Today I advise founders and CEOs across the UK, US and Brazil, helping them do what took me two exits and a burnout to learn: build a business that scales with peace, purpose and freedom. I sit beside them, not on the sidelines, and where it helps, I build the systems with them.

A word on faith, because it sits under all of this. I'm a Christian, and it is the foundation, not a feature. It shapes how I work more than what I say: integrity when it costs me, patience when the pressure says rush, honesty in the room, and a definition of success wide enough to include the people you would lose chasing a narrow one. I don't bring scripture into boardrooms, and I don't only work with people who share my beliefs. I bring the character it built. If that matters to you, we will get on well. If it doesn't, the work stands on its own.
